My husband and I like to go on date nights together to keep the romance alive. We used to go to the movie theater but lately we've started using our home theater system instead. We have found that it's not only less expensive but also more romantic. Being able to snuggle on the couch is wonderful, and something we can't do at the theater because of the armrests. We are all alone at home with our home theater system, with all the kids in bed, unlike the theater where there are crowds and strangers all around us. Even the picture on our HD projection TV screen is better than the picture at the movies! We enjoy making some goodies to eat while we watch a movie. Sometimes we make brownies or cookies, and sometimes we have chips and dip. It's much less expensive than snacks at the theater, and they taste better. Plus we don't have to pay admission, we just watch a movie we already own. Our home theater system is all in all a better movie experience for our date nights.
